The first few weeks on anti-depressants lead to higher level's of anxiety, and by this stage I couldn't function to go to work anymore.

That was my doctor's certificate for a two week break. The week after I lost my job.

I sunk into a deep depression.. And strange thing is, I had never been a depressed person before. I was always the happy-go-lucky, no problem too big or too small for me.

But for the first time, I felt completely useless. I couldn't understand why anyone would even bother to stick around and be my friend. And why does my husband stick around with such a person?

Eventually I came to realize these medications were not helping me at all, if anything they were making me feel worse. So I eventually plucked up the courage to take myself off them.

My Anxiety and Panic Attacks had come back in full swing again. And now that I wasn't working any longer, I had even more time to think about my condition.
